Accepting how God made YOU

Sometimes accepting how God made you, and playing the comparison game can be hard. It’s times like this, and topics like this, that I like to let scripture do the talking. When you learn to trust in Him and His Word and apply it in your life, you will gain the confidence and courage that overcomes any feelings of insecurity, I promise.

“Looks aren’t everything. Don’t be impressed with his looks and stature… God judges persons differently than humans do. Men and women look at the face; God looks into the heart” Samuel 16:7

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Psalm 139:13-14

“Don’t depend on things like fancy hairdos or gold jewelry or expensive clothes to make you beautiful. Be beautiful in your heart by being gentle and quiet. This kind of beauty will last, and God considers it very special” 1 Peter 3:3-4

“Beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.” Proverbs 31:30

“For women who claim to be devoted to God should make themselves attractive by the good things they do.” 1 Timothy 2:10

“The glory of the young is their strength; the gray hair of experience is the splendor of the old.” Proverbs 20:29
